Samsung Galaxy S9 Massive Design Analysis, Galaxy S9 Real Design vs Expected Design based on S8

Samsung Galaxy S9 is probably the most rumored smartphone of the year , with ton of image leaks and 3D renders  that we  almost thought we knew every thing about it and that it will follow the exact design of the Galaxy S8 . But recently there has been a new set of press image leaks in courtesy Onleaks, a well known leakster  and some live images of dummy units which reveled completely different story.  So since now we know the S9 wont look exactly like the S8 as we expected and here on this video we are going to analyse the differences between the design we expected for S9(based on Galaxy S8) vs the real final S9  design with help of detailed 3D Renderings.

As per the latest leaks the  Galaxy S9 will undergo some significant changes in design most important one will be the change in the Curvature at the edges its seems the new S9's curve's at the edges is much less evident than last year, which is verified by the  factory CAD drawings of the finalized Galaxy S9+, compared to the schematics of the S8+ which is also published by Onleaks. so here on this 3D render you can clearly see that the sloping curve of the display edge on the s9 is much more gradual than on the S8, starts sooner, but also merges sooner with the bezel, making it thicker than on the S8.

What this would mean is that the S9 might not look as elegant as the S8, but it will be easier to grab and hold without inadvertent touches to the side edge, plus screen protector would also have less trouble sticking on to the display, or introducing halo if their adhesive is applied on the whole protector.

So, long story short, the S9 might keep its stellar screen-to-body ratio by means of slightly thinner top and bottom bezels, but the side ones will be thicker than on the S8, and the edge screen slope less pronounced.
