Oppo Realme 1 Premium Mid-Range smartphone, Launched in India

               We were hearing reports that Oppo is going to introduce a sub-brand called "Realme" in Indian and the first product will be a smartphone dubbed as the  Realme 1. Now today the smartphone has been launched in India and it will be exclusively available on Amazon.in .Oppo also  claims that the Realme 1 is a “Made In India” product and the Realme brand has been positioned as a “premium mid-range smartphone brand”.

               The Oppo Realme 1 features a 6-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 84.75  percent. It  is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor (clocked at 2GHz  it also have dual-core AI-specific chip) coupled with multiple variants of RAM and internal storage options like  the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage model,  4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, the 6GB RAM +128GB of internal storage. All three models will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and will pack 3,410mAh battery which is optimized by AI Battery Management feature. 

                     The camera department features a 13-megapixel primary camera which is accompanied by an LED flash at the rear and a 8-megapixel secondary camera for selfies. The Oppo Realme 1 also features the Oppo’s AI Beauty 2.0 feature that will  offers 296-point facial recognition  along with beautification feature. The device also supports AR stickers for both the front and rear cameras. 

                  It is equipped with Face Unlock feature (that can unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds) while it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor also the company says that the device comes with an AI Board assistant. The connectivity features include dual  are 4G VoLTE , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS The Realme 1 measures 156x75.3x7.8mm and weighs 158 grams (built out of a fiber-glass body).

               At present the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant will go on sale in India which is priced at Rs. 13,990  ($206 US dollarwhile the other variants will be available after  a month. As for the launch offers, the smartphone is being offered with a 5 percent cash back on SBI cards, Jio benefits worth Rs. 4,850. The company is also giving  a free case and a free screen protector.  The 3GB RAM is expected to be priced at Rs. 8,990 (~ $133 US dollar) while the 4GB RAM variant will be  priced at Rs. 10,990 (~ $162 US dollar). It will be available in three color options like Diamond Black, Moonlight Silver, and Solar Red.
