Samsung Foldable Phone to Launch at MWC, Galaxy S10 Debut Set for Jan 2019

We have been hearing rumors about Samsung  working on foldable smartphone which could be dubbed as  Galaxy X for couple of years now, then we heared that the device may delay its debut, due to  some production issues and will only launch in 2020. Now today a fresh report from  Korea suggest that the foldable device will be officially launched in February next year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

According to the report, the company has asked its partners to start the supply of parts for the device for mass production by November this year, the report also claims that the Samsung  has changed the project code name for the foldable smartphone from "Valley" to "Winner", which the experts says, it is an indication that the project has moved beyond the development phase and nearing to the launch stage.

Recall the Galaxy S9 was launched on the event at  MWC 2018, so previously  we expected that the company  will  stick with the same time frame for its 10th anniversary flagship. But from this report, it clearly claims that Samsung is going to  launch the Galaxy S10 at the Consumer Electronics Show (the biggest tech trade show in the world) 2019 which would be  held at the Las Vegas from January 8-11 and launching of the  foldable smartphone a month apart.
