Mi 9 Introduction Concept with Pop up Dual Camera & 98% Screen to Body Ratio

The smartphone industry as a whole is moving towards the bezel less trend which was started by the first generation Mi Mix from Xiaomi that introduced the bezel less design in market. This bezel less war is mainly  fought between the Chinese smartphone manufacturers and we saw Vivo recently introduced the Vivo Nex smartphone, while the Oppo introduced its version of bezel less design on Oppo Find X.

So we think as the pioneer of this trend Xiaomi would definitely try to outperform others by introducing their next flagship the Mi 9, so here we have tried to concensualised how the Xiaomi's upcoming  Mi 9 would look with a bezel less design while retaining the traditional design language from the Mi 8. In addition we have introduced a Pop up dual front camera setup to make the bezels uniform around the smartphone and added a triple camera setup at the rear which was debuted on the Huawei P20 Pro and is expected to be featured on almost all the 2019 flagship devices, take a look.
Our concept Xiaomi Mi 9 will have 6.2inch QHD display with improved 98% screen to body ratio, it also feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It would be powered by flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with 4/6GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB. The camera department of this concept design features a triple rear camera set up with  16MP+20MP+16MP sensor which support PDAF & OIS .  On this concept we have moved the camera to the top frame with a pop up mechanism with 20+12 MP dual sensors which pushes the camera out within 0.8sec. Both cameras will be equipped with AI integration.
