Here are the Six Sony Xperia Smartphones to Receive Android 9 Pie Update, Would Start From September


                  Recently launched Android 9 Pie has already rolled out for smartphone from Google ( pixel lineup) and Essential, while some other manufacturers are gearing up for its update including  HTC, HMD Global, Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo. Now today the latest report has suggested that Sony has announced the schedule of rolling out Android 9.0 Pie update to six of its smartphones.
                According to the report, Sony will roll out Android 9.0 Pie update to its six smartphones such as Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ2 Premium, Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact, and Xperia XZ Premium. The report further claims that the  aforementioned  smartphones will be updated to the latest Android version from September to November 2018.
 
             Sony is not the only brand that is planning to update its flagship smartphones to the Android 9.0 Pie, Vivo has already confirmed that it will roll out the update before the end of this year. Mean while Nokia has started pushing Developer Preview 4 for the Nokia 7 Plus that is based on Android 9. Huawei has also started internal testing of Android 9 for four of its devices including Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei P20, Honor 10, and Honor V10. Few days ago Xiaomi MIX 2S has also started receiving the beta version of the latest Android. Now  it seems there is only few remaining smartphone manufacturers to update their device with this major OS and we can expect them to update the latest Android 9 Pie to their smartphone in coming months.
