Samsung Reportedly Working on Behind-the-Display Selfie Cameras

Samsung has already grab the title for releasing the world's first quadruple camera smartphone and also they have released a smartphone with triple camera sensors, moreover we already know that the company  is working on a device with higher screen-to-body ratio, probably with a ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners. Now today a new report has suggested that the South Korean giant is testing out the next-step in front facing camera designs.
According to the report Samsung is testing a few prototypes that will feature a behind-the-screen selfie cameras in order to make its future smartphones a higher screen-to-body ratio one. As we know already the current smartphones offers a high screen to body ratio by a pop-out camera module or notched display design including the latest trends like the waterdrop notch, but Samsung isn’t a fan of  implementing these designs. Thus, the company  is  very keen to introduce a new design trend that can compete with others.
The behind-screen selfie camera tech is currently in the very early stages of its development, so an implementation in commercial products is still far away. However, we can expect these type of technological advancement to arrive in Samsung smartphones during 2020, which hints at the Galaxy S11 and any issues with its quality could pushed back to the Galaxy S12 models, and  it is also expected to arrive in the future Note series too. As Samsung and other smartphone manufacturers are aiming for completely bezel-less designs, the behind-screen technology could easily replace the current  slide-able or pop-out designs since they are facing some reliability issues at the moment.
